  • Student Council (STUCO) – Open to 7th and 8th Grade TSMS Students. 

    TSMS Student Council is for students who demonstrate leadership qualities.  Their primary purpose is to promote school activities and kindness throughout the building.  To qualify, students can not have any discipline and must maintain Cs or higher.  Students are required to get three recommendations from their core teachers as well.  Elections for STUCO officers are held in September.  Be on the lookout for information at the beginning of each year. 

    Meeting times:  Last Friday of each month, 7:50-8:10 am (officers may require further meetings.  Room # 105

    Fees:  $35 (This includes t-shirt)

  • Open to TSMS 7th and 8th-grade students.

    Students of all skill levels are welcome to come to learn and improve their bow skills. 

    Meeting times: Begins in January from  3:30 – 5:00 p.m.

    The first meeting is on 1/08/2024.

    7th Grade: Mondays/Fridays and in February/March on

    8th Grade: Thursdays  

    Room: Gym.

  • Open to all TSMS students.

    Students with an interest in creating original pieces of art are invited.  Members are encouraged to use a variety of mediums and techniques to showcase their artistic ability. Sign ups begin in Dec / January.

    FCCLA has been established for students interested in networking, developing leadership skills, and being a leader in their family, career, and community.

  • Open to all TSMS students.  

    FCA is a club that meets to encourage students to make positive choices in their own lives and then impact the school with kindness and a servant's heart.  Our time together consists mainly of students leading students through devotion, a hangout time, and eating donuts! Depending on the gym's availability, we will also have a monthly open gym time.  Hope to see you there!

    FFA is a club that meets to encourage students to explore different aspects of agriculture.  FFA is a great opportunity for students to develop networking, leadership skills and being a leader in our school and community.  Hope to see you there!

  • All students with a positive attitude, good attendance and believe in our motto: Service Above Self.  We are a service group sponsored by the Troy Rotary Club. We will organize and carry out service projects throughout the year to help others in our school and community.

  • The Drama and Choir departments sponsor the all-middle-school musical and is open to any 6th through 8th Grade student in the district.  Auditions are held during the third quarter. Look for more information during the school year.

    Meetings: Rehearsals typically start in March and run up until the performance in May.

    Fee: Varies, depending on the show.

  • Open to 7th & 8th-grade TSMS students.  

    NJHS honors students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character & citizenship. 

    Applications are submitted in the spring for the next school year.  

    Meeting times: All year on the first Monday of each month. Second Monday if we are not in school on the first Monday. Times 7:45 am - 8:15 am

  • Open to 7th and 8th grade TSMS students

    Robotics will focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, problem solving, construction, and coding.  Titan Robotics has a membership fee of $50. This cost covers a team t-shirt, VEX team membership, competition entry fees, and equipment. Titan Robotics focuses on gaining knowledge and skills to prepare for participation in VEX V5 Robotics Competitions against other area middle schools and high schools. 

    Meeting times: Every Monday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

  • Open to 6th grade TSMS students

    We focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, problem solving, construction and coding.  Junior Titan Robotics has a membership fee of $35. This cost covers a team t-shirt and equipment. Junior Titan Robotics does not compete with other schools.  They, however, scrimmage against each other, with the focus being on gaining knowledge and skills to prepare for participation in Titan Robotics during their 7th and 8th grade school years. 

    Meeting times: Every other Tuesday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

  • Open to 7th and 8th-grade TSMS and TMS students. 

    Tonali-T is a competitive show choir that combines TSMS & TMS students.  Auditions are held in the spring for the following school year. Students must be enrolled in choir to participate. Look for more information throughout the year & sign up for tryouts.

    Fee: $450, including clothing & travel costs.  Other fees may apply.

  • Titan TSA is Troy South’s team for the Technology Student Association.  TSA is a student organization that focuses on leadership and explores many areas of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).  Each student will be expected to compete in three different areas. Titan TSA  has a membership fee of $50.  This cost covers national and state TSA membership, and a team t-shirt.  There will be additional charges for Conferences and Competitions.  These fees include conference events, transportation, hotel, food and drink.  The cost and dates of the Conferences will be forwarded as soon as they can be determined.  Please be aware that there are required dress codes for all conferences.  These codes will be forwarded as the conferences draw nearer.

    Room # 414. TSA will also meet one Saturday a month from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. These Saturdays will be determined as the season begins.

    Fee:  $40, including team national registration.
