Troy South Middle School

Welcome

Welcome

Our hope is that the organization of the library collection into approximately twenty genres will help students to discover their favorite interests regardless of their reading habits. Students will have the opportunity to explore these genres during regularly scheduled library visits with their English class, or they can receive permission for additional visits from other courses.

The library is also a location for technical support. Students may be referred to the library by a teacher or reach out to the librarian through Canvas messaging.

Library Hours

The library is open every day before school from 7:00 until 7:20 and after school from 2:20 until 2:40.  Students are welcome to utilize these times for book checkout, payment of fines, reading, homework, or tech support.

During school hours, each English teacher has a designated day of the week for students to visit the library. Students may request to visit the library while in other classes; however, their request may not be honored depending on time availability.
